Reviews
Good coffee and food. The poached eggs was perfect and the coffee is nice and strong. I personally think the price is on the higher end considering the serving but it is made well. The staff are friendly too. The cafe can get very loud when it’s full otherwise is a nice cafe to meet friends.
Arrived eagerly anticipating the coffee and breakfast menu, visiting at a bright 8:30 AM. Initially, we ordered the pancake, knowing it would take about 20 minutes, and we were fine with that. While we waited patiently, two couples arrived, placed their orders for pancakes, and they got their pancakes 15 minutes after later, even though they had come in half an hour after us.
When the couples got their food, we were still waiting. Trying to get the attention of the staff proved difficult due to the poor service. After finally getting someone's attention, I mentioned we had been waiting for 45 minutes for the pancake. The staff looked confused, and despite multiple attempts to communicate with the kitchen, no one could explain the delay. It was evident that our order had been missed, and there were no apologies or explanations.
The couples finished their meals before our pancake finally arrived, extending our stay at the cafe until around 10 o'clock due to the delay, without any apologies or explanations. When it was time to pay, the owner, a bald gentleman, offered no apologies either and only mentioned that the coffee was complimentary.
While the food was tasty, the long wait and lack of communication left us frustrated. Without the good food, we might have left in frustration. As for the coffee, it was decent but didn't live up to the hype; I've had better elsewhere.
I tried this place for the first time yesterday over a friend's recommendation and I am glad I did so!
The selection of coffee from different estates around the globe was the first thing that caufht my attention and this included single origins from Columbia, Ethiopia etc as well as some Geisha coffee 😍
I was keen for the Dirty Bird Benedict and the Waffles. Although the waffle itself was a little soggy, I really enjoyed the crunchy spiced chicken and the sauce!
I ordered a Bolivian Geisha Filter coffee. It was served in an aesthetic ceramic cup with tasting notes which were perfectly reflected in the fruitiness of the warm coffee.
The brunch was perfect for a monsoon day and I will definitely visit again!
Trendy cafe and coffee roasters - good place for breakfast and lunch - have tried both.
Most recently went for coffee and lunch. The Karaage burger with fries was excellent as was the nourish bowl. Generous portions and fairly average price for the area. We sat at the central communal table, but there were also a scattering of smaller tables and a few dog friendly tables out the front.
Coffee was delicious (flat white), I bought a bag of the toucan beans to take home.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
A cafe with a charming garden atmosphere and a lofty ceiling, where the alchemy of coffee roasting happens right in the back.
The brunch menu offers a wide range of choices, I went with a simple yet satisfying choice - scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast. Generous portion at a fair price.
Can confirm it does, in fact, roast coffee. Some pretty great coffee, actually. I’m by no means a coffee expert but the Ethiopia cold brew was lightly sweet and super enjoyable.
The food was also great! Polenta porridge was the right amount of sweet and the green nourish bowl had a zingy creamy dressing.
Overall, this cafe was in every way a really enjoyable place to spend a brunch that turned into an afternoon tea.
What a great find. A very inconspicuous cafe that has amazing food and a great funky feel and decor. The coffee is high quality. The coffee menu is worth exploring. The food the also quality with amazing flavours. The service is friendly and prompt. What a great cafe!
I don’t know how else to express it in words, but this is the best coffee in Sydney. Look nowhere else there is a blend for everyone here and the prices are on point. I also grabbed their avocado smash and it was awesome. But the highlight truly is the coffee it’s perfectly balanced.
